One misty morning, four fine ladies mingled with the Court of King Henry the 8th.

Suddenly, to the astonishment of the Courtiers, one of the fair maids called out, “Lords and Ladies, We are Seraphim!”

And Seraphim proceeded to entertain the Court with spirited dancing . . .

. . . and silly pantomime.

When they heard about Seraphim’s exploits at Court, the minstels of the land made haste to share their stages with the famous ladies of Seraphim.

Before long, the King himself — God Save the King! — heard about the ladies of Seraphim, and he sought them out in Revel Grove.

The King was delighted by Seraphim’s singing and dancing.

With the King’s blessing, Seraphim was invited to perform at the best houses in the grove.

Their stage show was full of drama . . .

. . . and even some inadvertent humor.

And this, Lords and Ladies, is the story of Seraphim’s Renaissance Journey.

2010 Renaissance Festival

Seraphim returned to the Renaissance Festival in 2010 with a new player to spice up their show with his guitar and drum.

As always, the festivities included lively song and dance.

Once again, the ladies of Seraphim were a big hit with the little princesses.

All in all, it was a very good run.

Their show was filled with fanciful stories . . .

Seraphim has a unique appeal among the little princesses. They think the ladies are big princesses or queens.

The kids feel free enough to want to join Seraphim when the ladies invite them to do London Bridges.

Seraphim Performs at the V.A.

In the summer of 2008 the ladies of Seraphim honored America’s veterans and veteran’s spouses by performing at the Washington, D.C. V.A. hospital and at the military nursing home in D.C.

“I won’t sit under the Apple Tree with anyone else but you.”

The guys at the Poker table commented after the show that the performance was “tight”!

Nothin’ like “Shoo-Fly Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy!”
